WE HANDLE OUR CLOTHES HOW YOU HANDLE YOUR ARTWORK.

We work with artists and entrepreneurs everyday. The most common thing we hear is that the market for blanks is trash. We started wholesaling to provide a quality based alternative that delivers an original fit with premium fabrication so creators can be proud of their products.

FAIR TRADE PERIOD.

Our brand is our team and our team is international. We take care of our people and are proud we operate above and beyond green factory compliance. We prioritize ethical fabric sourcing and engineering. No exceptions.

INNOVATION FUELS SUSTAINABILITY

We put our money where our mouth is. Investing money into waste-reducing technology is one of the ways we are contributing to a cleaner planet. Our generation has a responsibility to drive manufacturing into an environmentally conscious future. This is not a “Made in China” vs. “Made in America” issue. We need to tackle this globally.

ART COMES FIRST.

Prom is not a fashion label. It’s an initiative to form a community that brings together artists. It’s a community that fosters collaboration, creative expression and empowers financial independence in a world where creative voices are not often heard. We are here to provide an international platform that bridges creatives to their audience.

We are building a platform.

ORIGIN

Birthed in the Shibuya district of Tokyo in 2011, Avery Alan launched Prom to share his love of underground innovation with an international audience. Prom is built on an idea that fashion, music and artwork are just different tools of creative
expression that drive culture.

Quality takes the backseat when corporations set standards. Industry norms push a quantity over quality approach that yields environmental waste and hinders creative expression. Why is it that in an industry built on hustling art are the artists the last to be heard?

We are here to tear down the standard so the next generation of creators are the drivers.

THE LABORATORY

Prom’s home base in Beverly Hills is a multifaceted workshop. It’s a creative workspace for our community to collaborate and build together. It doubles as a showroom to present the process of bringing something that started out as an idea and grew into a physical representation of expression to challenge and inspire the public.

The modular layout was inspired by a blank canvas so that the environment can be modified and shaped to enhance the curator’s vision.
